Indian captain Rohit Sharma roared for Super 8

Rohit Sharma: The first phase of the T20 World Cup is over and after a day’s break, the second phase begins. The first match between the eight teams of the twenty teams that managed to reach the Super 8 will be played in South Africa and the USA. However, Team India will play its first match against Afghanistan on June 20. The first match of the Indian team’s Super 8 will be played in Barbados. The Indian team has reached there and preparations are also in full swing. Meanwhile, a video of Team India captain Rohit Sharma has surfaced in which he talks about the team’s journey so far and future plans.

Rohit Sharma said that the upcoming schedule will be a bit busy

Rohit Sharma believes the Super 8 phase will be a bit crowded, but the Indian players are ready for it. In a video uploaded by the BCCI, Rohit said that after playing the first match, we will play the next two matches with a break of three or four days. It will be a bit busy, but we are used to all these things. We travel a lot and play a lot, so it will never be an excuse. Rohit said there is a lot of enthusiasm in the team to do something special. This is a good way to start the second phase. He said there is something to be accomplished in every session.

The Indian team has not lost a single match

You have to remember that when the first matches of the T20 World Cup were played in America, India played the first three matches in New York where the pitch was not very good. All the batsmen were struggling, this was the reason why high scoring matches could not be held there. Drop-in pitches were used here, which were constructed in a different location. Even after that, the Indian team defeated Ireland, Pakistan and America in the league stage, while their final group match against Canada was canceled due to the wet outfield in Florida.

Rohit and Kohli practiced hard

Meanwhile, the Indian team took part in a long practice session on Monday in which seniors like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma spent a lot of time. Virat Kohli has not yet been able to play a single big innings in the opening batsman role, so he is focusing on how to bat in the future. India will begin its Super Eight campaign against Afghanistan on June 20. The team will next play Bangladesh on June 22 in Antigua and finally against Australia on June 24 in St. Lucia.
