SAN DIEGO (FOX 5) — FOX 5 San Diego is counting down to the biggest fireworks show on the West Coast: the Big Bay Boom!

On the Fourth of July, fireworks will be launched from four boats across San Diego Bay – and viewers can enjoy the show from the comfort of home.


FOX 5’s coverage starts at 8 p.m., with fireworks from 9 p.m.:
8:00 PM to 8:30 PM: Big Bay tree Pre-show
8:30 PM to 9:00 PM: Big Bay Boom spectacular
9:00 PM to 9:30 PM: Big Bay Boom fireworks
9:30 PM to 10:00 PM: FOX 5 News Special

The show is also streaming on FOX5SanDiego.com and the FOX 5 app.

The broadcast can also be seen in Sacramento on FOX40 from 8:30 PM. KTLA in Los Angeles will stream the show on the KTLA+ app and KTLA.com from 8:30-9:30 p.m. In Fresno, viewers can also enjoy replays of the Big Bay Boom Spectacular and fireworks on CBS47 starting at 10 p.m.

Up to half a million people are expected to admire the fireworks show from various vantage points around the bay, including Shelter Island, Harbor Island, Coronado Ferry Landing, North Embarcadero and the Marina District.
