The long-awaited CMF Phone 1 is joined by the CMF Watch Pro (2) and the CMF Buds Pro (2). All three products are scheduled to be unveiled during the Nothing Community Update event. The sub-brand’s first phone will be unveiled on July 8 at 2:30 PM IST.

Unexpectedly, the phone and the CMF Buds 2 Pro and Watch Pro 2 are launched at the same time. Flipkart will sell the phone and the online retailer has a dedicated web page for it.

The sub-brand’s iconic rotating dial is still the focus of the latest teaser for the following products. Unlike the square dial of its predecessor, we imagine the CMF Watch Pro 2 may have a round dial. There are still unanswered questions about the wearables.

The company’s first entry into the mid-range smartphone market will be the CMF Phone (1), which will be a cheaper option than the Nothing Phone (2a).

The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, a replacement for the Dimensity 7200 chipset and paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage, is expected to power the phone. A microSD card slot for additional storage may also be available from CMF. We may see a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with thin bezels and a 120Hz refresh rate.

It is expected to have an unknown secondary lens and a 50MP primary camera. On the front, there may be a 16MP camera for video chats and selfies. The phone is likely to come with a 5,000mAh battery that will support 33W fast charging. It will also likely boot into a custom shell of Nothing OS, based on Android 14.

Price-conscious buyers may find it attractive as it is rumored to be available in India for less than Rs 20,000. The transparent design and glyph interface of previous Nothing smartphones are said to have been removed from the CMF Phone (1), a departure from Nothing’s signature style.

The Watch Pro 2 and Buds Pro 2 may offer some improvements over their predecessors, but we don’t have any information on that at the moment.
