Bayern give Xavi Simons preference over Doue

Sky Germany reports that Bayern Munich will only sign Xavi Simons and Désiré Doué. The Dutchman is currently their focus.

Bayern Munich have been linked with a number of transfer targets in recent weeks, including Paris Saint-Germain’s Xavi Simons and Stade Rennes’ Désiré Doué.

According to Sky Germany, Bayern’s managers have decided to sign only one of them. One of the main reasons for this is the fact that the club has not yet made any money from the sale this summer.

According to the report, Simons has the highest priority and Doué is seen as an alternative.

Should they fail to land either player, the Bavarians could turn their attention to RB Leipzig’s Dani Olmo.

A decision on the future of Simons, who spent last season on loan at RB Leipzig, is expected to be made next week.
