Telangana government transfers 6 IAS officers to various departments

Hyderabad: In yet another reshuffle of the state bureaucracy, the Telangana government has transferred six IAS officers. The orders were issued on Saturday, July 20.

Vikas Raj, a 1992 batch IAS officer, has been posted as Special Principal Secretary, Transport, Housing & General Administration Department. He was the Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana during the Lok Sabha elections.

Benhur Mahesh Dutt Ekka, a 1995 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Principal Secretary in the General Administration Department of the Government (Services).

A Sharath, an IAS officer of 2005 batch, who earlier served as Secretary to the State Government, Tribal Welfare Department, has now been given the full additional charge of Commissioner, Tribal Welfare Department.

Korra Lakshmi, a 2012 batch IAS officer and Director of Sports, has been given the full additional responsibility as Managing Director of Telangana State Warehousing Corporation.

S Harish, an IAS officer of 2015 batch, currently serving as Joint Secretary to the Government, Roads and Buildings Department, Telangana, has been given full additional charge as Special Secretary to
Revenue Department (Disaster Management).

Radhika Gupta, an IAS officer of 2021 batch, currently serving as Additional Collector (Local Bodies) in Hanumakonda, has been transferred as Additional Collector (Local Bodies) for Medchal Malkajgiri district.
