Explosion at Whittier food truck: 5 injured – NBC Los Angeles

Five people were hospitalized Saturday morning after a food truck explosion in Whittier.

The explosion was reported around 9 a.m. in the 6700 block of Greenleaf Avenue.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, two of the five injured are in serious condition.

No details are yet known about the cause of the explosion.
