5-star WR Derek Meadows chooses LSU over Alabama

Derek Meadows made it known verbally on Saturday that he prefers LSU over Alabama, Notre Dame and others.

Meadows is a five-star wide receiver from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Crimson Tide hosted Meadows for an official visit last month and the Crimson Tide was considered one of the favorites to land him after his visit.

Alabama recently secured a commitment from five-star wideout Caleb Cunningham. The Tide is also in the running for five-star wide receiver Kaliq Lockett.

It appears Alabama will continue to recruit wide receivers throughout the season.
