MATCH REPORT: Tacoma Defiance draws 4-4 against LAFC2 in thrilling eight-goal match Saturday at Lumen Field

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON – Tacoma Defiance (9-7-2, 30 points) played to a 4-4 draw against LAFC2 (8-5-4, 30 points) on Saturday afternoon at the Emerald Queen Casino Pitch at Lumen Field, with LAFC2 winning the ensuing shootout. Dylan Teves, Georgi Minoungou, Gio Miglietti and Elias Katsaros all scored for Tacoma, with Katsaros scoring the equalizer in stoppage time to secure a late point. The result extends Tacoma’s unbeaten run to five games (4gp-0-1) and keeps it in third place in the Pacific Division. Defiance now has more than a week off before hosting Minnesota United FC 2 on Sunday, Aug. 4 at Starfire Stadium (12:00 p.m. PT/MLSNEXTPro.com).
