Baby found dead in Fort Worth trash can, police say – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

Police are actively searching for answers after the lifeless body of a baby was found in a dumpster in Fort Worth on Saturday.

According to Fort Worth police, the infant was found in a dumpster in the 4700 block of Norma Street.

Due to their active investigation, police said they could not release any further details at this time. There is no word on the baby’s identity or how the child’s body was found.

Authorities also told NBC 5 that the Tarrant County Coroner’s Office will determine the baby’s cause of death.
