Education department changes school timings in Telangana

Hyderabad: The school timings in Telangana have been changed following a decision by the Telangana State Education Department. The department has also issued orders regarding the modification of school working timings.

Under the ordinance, public high schools in the state will now be open from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Previously, these schools were open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Ministry of Education officials have clarified that primary and secondary schools will remain open from 9am to 4.15pm as usual.

Moreover, the change in timings will be applicable for schools in Telangana districts, except the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. In the twin cities, schools will remain open from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm.
