Guyana takes gold in boys 8-10, girls 11-13 Team Kata

Guyana won the Boys 8-10 Team Kata competition and also took first place in the Boys 17-19 Team Kata (Black) and Girls 11-13 Team Kata (Black) at the fourth edition of the International Karate Daigaku World Cup which continued yesterday.

Held at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue, Guyana achieved a clean sweep in the Boys 8-10 Team Kata (Brown) and also won gold in the Boys 17-19 Team Kata (Black) and Girls 11-13 Team Kata (Black). The Guyanese who took the top podium in the Team Kata (Brown) Boys 8-10 were Kayden Savory, Josiah Clinken and Wyatt Savory, while Adesini Benjamin, Anthony Charles and Liam Faerber took second place and Liam Brummell, Christian Persaud and Chris Persaud completed the clean sweep by finishing third.
