* WHAT…Dangerously hot conditions. Afternoon temperatures 100 to
114 degrees. Locally high heat risk.

* WHERE…Portions of southwestern Arizona and southeastern California.

* WHEN… Until 8:00pm MST /8:00pm PDT/ tonight.

* EFFECTS… Heat-related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat events. Overexposure can cause heat cramps and heat
exhaustion to develop and can, without intervention, lead to heat
heart attack.
An extreme heat warning means that a period of very hot days is coming.
