Vote on 5-year contract for medical services | Ocean 100

The Government of PEI, Health PEI and the Medical Society of PEI have entered into a preliminary agreement.

The five-year physician services agreement is aimed at supporting PEI’s provincial physician recruitment and retention efforts, delivering quality and accessible patient care, and recognizing physicians who go above and beyond the call of duty.

The tentative agreement now goes to the Medical Society of PEI’s eligible physician members for a ratification vote from July 24 to August 5. Voting results will be made available in the days following the voting window.
