Syddan claims the Division 10 FL title with three points to spare over St. Brigids at Cortown

After a hectic few days of football league action we now have a clear picture of the six remaining finals along with the winners of Division’s 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Pairc Tailteann will host the Division 1 final between Summerhill and Ballinabrackey. These two will meet in the opening round of this years race for the Keegan Cup. Barry Thompson’s goal proved the crucial score as the ‘Bracks’ saw off Skryne at Lomans Park. Keegan Cup holders Summerhill, with goals from Barry Dardis and Conor Frayne had four points to spare over Donaghmore Ashbourne at Summerhill.

Navan side’s Simonstown and O’Mahonys are relegated to Division 2.

In the lower divisions there was silverware for Oldcastle, St. Colmcilles, Moynalvey and Syddan
