13-year-old injured after shooting in Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 13-year-old boy was struck by gunfire early Sunday morning in Buffalo’s Allentown neighborhood, Buffalo police said.

Officers responded to the call shortly before 2 a.m. According to police, the male victim arrived at Buffalo General Hospital in a civilian vehicle after being shot near Main and High streets.


The teenager was then taken by ambulance to Oishei Children’s Hospital, where he underwent surgery, authorities said.
