Double-digit chance of storms Monday for most of the week – Your 9-day forecast

El Paso, Texas (KTSM) — Hello, El Paso. I hope everyone enjoyed Saturday’s rain!

We are still under a Weather Authority warning for Sunday, with thunderstorms expected after 5pm, tapering off around 8pm.


At 10pm we should see another round of storms. They are expected to continue past midnight. There are no advisories or warnings at this time.

Monday is forecast to warm up to 33 degrees. There is a slight chance of storms in the morning. Showers are more likely in the afternoon.

The rain pattern will continue into Tuesday night. The high for Tuesday is also expected to be 91 degrees, with a low of 69 degrees overnight.

Isolated storms are forecast for Wednesday afternoon with a high of 95 degrees. The chance remains low, but some places as far east as El Paso have a chance of some moisture.

On Wednesday evening the temperature will cool down to 22 degrees.

Thursday will be an interesting day. No moisture.

Instead, we have the chance to see mostly clear skies with a high of 97 degrees. Nothing special to report for this day!

There is again a small chance of thunderstorms on Friday.

Friday the maximum temperature can reach 98 degrees, accompanied by clouds during the day. The predicted minimum temperature is 76 degrees, accompanied by light winds.

As the weekend approaches, the chance of storms increases!

Saturday is forecast to reach 99 degrees with a 40% chance of storms beginning in the afternoon. We can expect temperatures to drop to 75 degrees by evening.

Sunday is a quiet day. We can expect some cloud cover for the city with a high warming up to 98 degrees.

On Monday we will be back to those triple-digit temperatures.

Our high is expected to warm to 100 degrees in the Borderland. This will be the first triple digit of the week.

Finally, sunny weather is expected next Tuesday with a maximum temperature of 37 degrees.
