Below average temperatures to start the week

LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) – Good evening Texoma! Tomorrow morning temperatures will start off with lows in the 60s, and by afternoon temperatures will be up into the mid 80s. This is about 10 degrees below average for this time of year, so it’s a good day to enjoy some “cooler” weather. Skies will be mostly cloudy with a northeast wind 5 to 10 mph. There’s about a 20% chance of scattered showers throughout the day, but most of Texoma will stay dry.

The cooler weather won’t last long as temperatures will climb back into the 90s on Tuesday. Skies will be mostly sunny during the day with a very low chance (~10%) of some storm activity in the afternoon and evening.

The rest of the week (Wednesday through Sunday) is likely to remain mostly dry. Temperatures during this period will be in the mid-90s for afternoon highs and the upper 60s for morning lows.
