Affton man accused of stabbing roommate with kitchen knife

ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – An Affton man was arrested last week for allegedly stabbing his roommate with a knife after an argument.

According to the statement from St. Louis County police, the attack occurred on July 18 in the 9000 block of Radio Drive.


According to police, the victim was in his bedroom when Jeffrey C. Sluka (age not released) burst in and slashed his leg with a kitchen knife.

The victim suffered a deep cut to his leg and was rushed to hospital. Sulka was arrested at the scene and admitted to cutting the victim, police said. The knife was confiscated and taken as evidence.

The St. Louis County Prosecutor’s Office has charged Sluka with second-degree assault and armed criminal action. Sluka was jailed on a $100,000 cash-only bond. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 26 for a bond reduction hearing.
