Earlier this year, it was revealed that Nike SB had teamed up with skater and architect Alexis Sablone to assemble the skateboarding kits for Team USA and Team Japan’s appearance at this year’s Olympic Games in Paris. Combining workwear aesthetics with Nike’s modern performance technology, a diverse range of apparel was created. Now, we get a look at what’s in store for Team Japan as the collection has just dropped.

Starting with the Dri-FIT ADV Short-Sleeve Jersey, its sweat-wicking fabric features unique thematic accents. The front features Nike SB branding, completed with a woven patch featuring an image of Mount Fuji with koi fish and cherry blossom detailing. The Japanese flag also rests just below the collar, which features a Roman numeral graphic in the same style as the cuffs with “JAPAN” and “SKATE” text distorted on the right and left sides respectively. From there, the Short-Sleeve Button-Up Bowler Shirt comes in red with a large embroidered koi fish on the back. A brown sports polo and black pullover hoodie with references to Japan round out this preview of the range, while the Swoosh has also included additional designs across the full launch, ranging from T-shirts to overalls.
