Trio of Chambersburg wrestlers experience Fargo Nationals

Three wrestlers from Chambersburg — Gabe Nolan, Jaccob Stoner and Frank Barrientos — got the chance to compete on one of the biggest stages their sport has to offer: the U.S. Marine Corps Nationals in Fargo, N.D.

Also known as “Fargo Nationals,” the trio of Trojan grapplers collected three wins at the toughest Freestyle/Greco-Roman competition in the country. Stoner led the crew, compiling a 2-2 record at 190 pounds in the 16U Greco-Roman division. Nolan, at 132 pounds, went 1-2 in 16U Greco-Roman. Barrientos, a heavyweight who competed in both the Junior Freestyle and Greco-Roman divisions, went 0-2 in both brackets.
