Trump rewrote speech after assassination attempt, debuted on crowded final night of RNC 2024 in Milwaukee.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump will take the stage in Downtown Milwaukee on Thursday night, closing out the final session of a turbulent Republican National Convention that began two days after he suffered an ear injury in an assassination attempt in Butler, Pa. As sources confirmed to WTMJ, the former president has reportedly personally rewritten his speech since Saturday’s attack.

Trump is expected to take the stage between 9:00 and 10:30 p.m. (CST). The exact time has not yet been announced, as this is a large event with nearly 20 speakers scheduled to take the stage at the Fiserv Forum.

Other headliners include former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, political commentator Tucker Carlson, world-famous wrestler Hulk Hogan, his son Eric Trump and UFC CEO Dana White. WTMJ also has reason to believe that convention organizers are trying to squeeze in a musical guest appearance.

This is Trump’s first public speech since the assassination attempt.
