Former soldier kills 5 of his family members by slitting their throats in Haryana

Chandigarh: A former soldier allegedly murdered five of his family members by slitting their throats in Rataur village in Naraingarh district of Haryana on Sunday night.

He killed his mother, brother, sister-in-law and two children. The accused identified as Bhushan also injured his father and another daughter of his brother.

The injured duo were taken to hospitals.

After committing the murders, the suspects attempted to set the bodies on fire. The police seized the half-burned bodies.

The retired soldier tried to escape after committing the crime, but was tracked down and arrested by the police.
