How to watch Vermonter in rugby sevens

Ilona Maher and the US women’s rugby sevens team are ready to take on the world in Paris.

Below is the schedule and TV/streaming information for the women’s rugby sevens tournament, which begins on Sunday, July 28 and concludes with the medal ceremony on Tuesday, July 30. It’s a great way to follow the Burlington, Vermont-born teammates through this summer’s Olympic Games.

The 12-team competition features fast-paced action, with matches lasting just 14 minutes (two 7-minute halves). Maher and Team USA finished sixth in Tokyo in 2021 but are among the medal contenders in Paris. They are currently ranked No. 4 in the world and won gold at last year’s Pan American Games in Brazil, beating Canada.
