On the weekend of Friday 12th and Saturday 13th July, Maidenhead’s biggest music festival drew its largest ever crowd to Fifield for music, food and fun.

For the first time ever, the festival took place as a two-day event, with music, food, camping and glamping on the Friday afternoon and evening, while the atmosphere built with a pre-festival party.

Under a bright sun, festival-goers could enjoy two stages with live music, a variety of child-friendly entertainment, various food and drink stalls and finally a stall with festival merchandise.

This year’s main stage headliner was Cast, who had the audience dancing and singing along to their new songs and chart-topping hits.

Other crowd favourites included Heather Small who took to the main stage on Saturday night with the crowd enjoying her hits ‘Moving on up’ and ‘Proud’, who returned last year, Shaun Williamson (or Barry Evans from Eastenders) as part of his Barrioke tour, with fans queuing up to sing along. Fans also enjoyed Kevin and Perry Official DJ set and Rick Parfitt Jr brought out the ‘RPJ’ band who played both classic anthems and party hits.

Friday’s headliner was a Guns ‘n’ Roses tribute band called Guns 2 Roses, who played some of the band’s most famous hits for early arrivals.

The Fi.Fest Kidzone was packed with fun activities for the younger generation. Think of a laser tag zone, a medieval battle arena, an inflatable amusement park, craft activities, a children’s theater and much more.

Fi.Fest organisers said: “Fi.Fest 2024 was fantastic from start to finish. We can’t thank Fi.Festers enough for really getting into the spirit and making the most of every second of a great weekend.

Fi.Fest gets bigger and better every year thanks to the support of our amazing communities, the incredible talent that performs for us and the hardworking team and merchants who work hard to deliver the very best festival experiences.

“Come next year to an even bigger and better festival.”
