Robinson 11u & 12u All Stars both undefeated through state pool game

The town of Robinson was in turmoil this weekend as both the 12 and 11 o’clock Little League All Stars dominated the state tournament through pool play.

The 12u opened Saturday with a 4-2 win over Champaign East. They defeated Western Springs 4-0. On Sunday, Robinson ended their 3-0 start with a win over Sterling. The District 1 champions advance undefeated to the 8-team Elimination Bracket and are looking to keep their dream of playing in the Little League World Series alive. The Robinson 12u is in action tonight at 5 p.m. at Elite 8 in Sterling against Western Springs.

Not to be outdone, the 11U closed out their pool play on Sunday with a 3-0 win over River Forest, 3-2 over Rochelle. They opened Saturday with an 11-2 win over Streamwood and a 3-0 win over Oglesby. They also advance to the Championship 4-team elimination bracket in hopes of taking home a state title.
