Eminem challenged for UK No.1 album by Olivia Rodrigo as GUTS aims to return to Top 10

Less than 200 charts shy of No. 2 is Oliva Rodrigo, whose former No. 1 album GUTS is getting a huge boost in the Top 10 following the physical release of the deluxe GUTS (spilled) version. GUTS debuted at No. 1 last year and stayed at the top for a week.

SOFT PLAY – the hard-punk duo formerly known as Slaves – are expected to become the highest new album this week with Heavy Jelly (3), their first album under their new name. As Slaves, Isaac Holman and Laurie Vincent scored three consecutive UK Top 10 albums; Are You Satisfied? (8), Take Control (6) and 2015’s Acts of Fear and Love (8).

Glass Animals’ fourth album, I Love You So F***ing Much (4), could become Dave Bayley and co.’s second Top 10 LP in the UK, following their breakthrough album Dreamland, which reached number two and contained their worldwide hit Heat Waves.

Heavy metal pioneers Deep Purple could mark their 12th Top 10 album (and first in four years) with their 23rd LP =1 (6), while Los Campesinos! hope to score their first Top 10 record with All Hell (10).

It could be a big week for London-based rapper Morrisson, who is on track to debut just outside the Top 10 with his debut album British Trap Royalty (11).

BTS superstar JIMIN’s latest solo album, MUSE, is expected to reach the UK Top 40 (25), following in the footsteps of Childish Gambino’s latest album, Bando Stone & The New World (26), the last album Donald Glover will release under his musical alias.

And finally, following their headline performance at BST Hyde Park last week, K-pop sensation STRAY KIDS could secure their second official Top 40 album chart entry with ATE (30).
