The 52-year-old royal briefly lost her balance.

As a guard intervened, Mary appeared to find her balance and stand up straight, as seen in the video above.

The clip was first obtained by Danish news agency Ekstra Bladet, which also received confirmation of the incident from the palace.

The Danish Royal Communications Department assured the media that no one was injured.

According to the medium, the anonymous scooter rider is said to have said: “I don’t know what happened.”

After the incident, the family attended the official Naalakkersuisut dinner, where Frederik gave a speech about the special relationship between Greenland and Denmark.

“Can you lose your heart for a people and a country? Yes, I can confirm that,” he said.

“Greenland has a very special meaning for my family and for me, which is why Queen Mary and I are so pleased to be here.”

Mary and her family were in Greenland, where Denmark has its northernmost military base, from June 29 to July 6.
