Texas Makes Final 4 for 5-Star 2025 W Grace Knox

According to On3’s Talia Goodman, Grace Knox, the elite five-star winger from Rancho Cucamonga (CA) Etiwanda in 2025, named the Texas women’s basketball team to her top four finalists on July 26.

The other three schools rounding out Knox’s top four are the Tennessee Lady Vols, LSU Tigers and USC Trojans.

Although Texas cracked the top group of finalist schools for Knox, she has yet to schedule an official visit to see head coach Vic Schaefer and the Longhorns. Knox has official visits scheduled to LSU, Tennessee and USC in August and September.

“Being able to build a relationship with the coach that I want to play for and that I feel passionate about. The style of play is very important to me, just knowing that I fit into the program and that I can flourish and be my best self is very important. Location is not a big issue for me. I’m willing to go anywhere in the country.”

Knox cited her experiences during official visits and her relationship with the coaching staff as some of the key factors she weighed in her decision for the fall.

Schaefer has done remarkably well in nationwide recruiting for the Longhorns on the trail in the class of 2025 this offseason. Texas has been involved in multiple recruiting efforts this summer for some of the top 20-ranked recruits in the country in the class of 2025, including No. 1 ’25 recruit Aaliyah Chavez and No. 2 guard Jazzy Davidson.

Knox is another top 20 recruit in the nation in the 2025 class, according to On3 and ESPN. She is the No. 13 recruit nationally in the 2025 class for ESPN, the No. 2 wing, and the No. 1 prospect in California.

On3 is ranked slightly lower than Knox, making him the nation’s 20th prospect for the class of 2025.
