Bad Newz Box Office Collection Day 8: Directed by Anand Tiwari, Bad Newz released on 19th July amidst huge expectations. It managed to collect around Rs 44.85 Cr crore after its first week of release. The sequel to the 2019 film Good Newwz, Bad Newz also starred Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk.

Vicky Kaushal, Triptych Dimri And Ammy Virk main character Bad news holds its place at the box office. The romantic comedy, which received mixed to positive reviews, has completed its first week and is already approaching the Rs 50 crore mark.

Bad news released on July 19 amid high expectations. It collected Rs 8.3 crore on its opening day, followed by Rs 10.25 crore and Rs 11.15 crore in the next two days over the weekend. However, it saw a decline throughout the week.

According to initial estimates from Sacnilk.com, Bad news grossed Rs 2.00 crore on day 8, taking its first week total to Rs 44.85 crore.

Bad news is the spiritual sequel to the 2019 film Good news starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani, it was about the affair of two couples with in vitro fertilization. Bad newsis, on the other hand, based on heteropaternal superfecundation, a reproductive process in which twins are born from the same mother but different biological fathers.

Talking about working with Vicky, Punjabi superstar actor-singer Ammy Virk wrote in a thank you post on Instagram, “From rehearsals to red carpets, it was a blast with my brother, Vicky Kaushal. Lights, camera, bromance! I couldn’t have asked for a better partner. Just two Punjabi Munde planning to take over the world! It was an absolute pleasure sharing the screen with you.
