Trump speaks on abortion, religious freedom in Florida speech

Former President Donald Trump promised attendees at a summit in Florida hosted by Turning Point Action — a conservative group that is seeking to return him to the White House — that in a second term he would “reappoint ironclad conservative judges who will protect religious freedom.” Trump urged attendees at the faith-themed event to vote, promising that “in four years, we’ll have it so good that you won’t have to vote.” The Republican nominee met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier on Friday in Palm Beach, Florida. President Biden and Vice President Harris met separately with Netanyahu on Thursday. Harris, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, received endorsements on Friday from former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama.
